James Marshall-Ward, Executive Director

James received his B.A. in Religious Studies with minors in Spanish and Philosophy from LeMoyne College, a small Jesuit college in upstate New York.  He obtained his M.S. in Management from Antioch University in Seattle.  James first connected with Rosehedge/Multifaith Works when the CareTeam Program recruited at St. Therese Catholic Church.  In his spare time, James enjoys reading and watching movies, and has a strong connection to meditation and yoga.  He loves spending time with his partner and two sons, and snuggling with his dog, Nikki.

Aleen Caplan Yamasaki, Accounting Assistant

Aleen went to graduate school for Museum Studies, and worked in the Native American art field before first turning to accounting in general, and then non-profit accounting in particular.  She has spent the past 15 years working for, volunteering with, and serving on the boards of various advocacy, charitable and religious organizations - although her kids still like to say, "My mom used to be an archaeologist."  Passionate about diversity in all its forms, Aleen found Rosehedge/Multifaith Works to be a perfect fit.

Aleen is addicted to knitting, especially socks.  She loves international travel, the Oregon coast, and Jane Austen novels (preferably in audio form, so she can knit while listening).

Elizabeth List, Major Gifts Officer

Elizabeth was born and raised in Atlanta, GA, and currently resides in Magnolia.  She has a BA in Psychology and has been involved in philanthropy and fundraising since 2000.  The majority of her professional career was spent with the Boys & Girls clubs and the arts.  Elizabeth was attracted to Rosehedge/Multifaith Works because of the effectiveness of the programs we run for the community.  The ripple effect [of our work] is immeasurable and she truly believes we are contributing to a shift in the way people think and act as a whole.  She is absolutely thrilled to be a part of this team.

Elizabeth's hero is Jane Goodall.  Nothing brings her peace like listening to George Harrison or Paul Simon.  She is the proud mother of a daughter, two dogs and a cat.  In her spare time, Elizabeth is running, gardening and - if inspired - painting.

CJ Lebert, Development Coordinator

CJ holds a B.S. in Business Administration / Accounting from Minnesota State University - Mankato.  Although much of his experience is in corporate accounting, he has been working in the non-profit community since 2008.  CJ has attended multiple World AIDS Day events over the years and has long been a donor to Rosehedge/Multifaith Works.  He wanted to become part of a team that practiced supportive relationships; both as a mission and within the work environment.

Beyond spending time with his young daughter, CJ runs.  And runs.  And runs.  He is training for his third marathon.  Originally from Mitchell, SD (home of the world's only Corn Palace), CJ loves reality TV shows - the more dysfunction, hair-pulling and name-calling the better!

Along with traveling and enjoying local adventures, Elisha enjoys skiing, running, running, or whatever it takes to burn off the latest round of recipes she has discovered.

Todd Morasch, Resident Care Assistant

Todd was raised in a small town in the Columbian River gorge.  His childhood was idyllic - he roamed the forest, swam in clear mountain streams and spent many-a-day resting in a tree.  Todd thanks his parents for letting him have this.  It was because of his good fortune that he feels a very strong obligation to give back to others.

Todd joined Rosehedge/Multifaith Works as a way to give back to the community and to offer compassionate care to those affected by HIV/AIDS.  Rosehedge/Multifaith Works has given Todd a chance to be there for people from all walks of life and from many cultures, and give them a piece of the kindness with which he was blessed.

Annie, Assistant Director of Administration

Annie holds certificates from Puppy Class and Basic Obedience Class, as well as the AKC Puppy Star and Canine Good Citizen awards.  She was first drawn to Rosehedge/Multifaith Works because she was able to come to work with her mom; now she adores the treats and attention from the staff and canine colleagues.

In her spare time, Annie enjoys playing chase with humans and other dogs, teaching the other office dogs to eat grass, chewing on sticks and bones, and eating pretty much anything that is not bolted to the floor.

Bella, Assistant Housing Program Director

Bella was born on the Upper West Side in New York City.  She completed her training at Julliard and has appeared both on television and stage: "Annie," "Law & Order," "101 Dalmations," and "Animal Planet," to name a few.  Last year, while in the company of the musical, "Catch Me If You Can," at the 5th Avenue Theater, she started living with Greg, the Housing Program Director.  Rather than going with the show to New York, she decided to stay in the Pacific Northwest, and hopes to star in local productions.
