Meighan Pritchard
Meighan is currently a sabbatical interim pastor at University Congregational United Church of Christ in Seattle. She has a master of divinity degree from Pacific School of Religion in Berkeley, California. In 2006, she joined CrossWalk America, a Progressive Christian organization, to walk with a small group of people from Phoenix, AZ to Washington, D.C., talking about Progressive Christianity all the way. This adventure became the basis for the book Asphalt Jesus, by Eric Elnes, and the film Asphalt Gospel, directed by Scott Griessel.
Darrell Goodwin
Rev. Darrell L. Goodwin has been preaching the Gospel of peace since he was 15 years of age. He was first licensed to preach two years later, and Ordained as an Elder in the Church of God in Christ, Inc. at the age of 19, then being the youngest man Ordained in his jurisdiction. Pastor Darrell graduated from Boston College with a degree in human
development and theology. Darrell also received his Masters degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs from the University of Vermont, and is currently pursuing his doctoral degree in Educational Leadership with a cognate in Pastoral Leadership at Seattle University. He has served congregations across the United States from Boston to Omaha, NE and hopes to bring his love of ministry and God's love to the Seattle Community. Prior to coming to Seattle, he founded and pastored Alana Campus Ministry in Burlington, VT where he preached an inclusive gospel of freedom and liberty. Pastor Darrell currently serves as the Assistant Dean of Students at Seattle University.
Chris Holland
Chris grew up going to church with his family at the University Congregationalist Church in the University District in Seattle, a denomination at the liberal end of Protestant Christianity. Chirs became interested in "spirituality" and its practical daily life understanding/application in his 20's while practicing the 12 steps of Alanon. His current beliefs around what could be called the bigger questions of life have been influenced by studying a number of books including A Course In Miracles, I Am That, by R. Nisargadatta, and the work of Byron Katie. Chris helps facilitate a Course In Miracles study group at the Interfaith Community Church in Ballard.
Professionally, Chris worked in business after attending the UW where he received a BA in Business Administration. He later taught English as a Second Language for 10 years, six of those while living in Japan. Chris then returned to the University of Washington and received a Masters in Social Work, and is currently doing mental health social work as a suicide prevention case manager for the VA Puget Sound Health Care System.
Tandi Rogers
Tandi Rogers has been the Unitarian Universalist Association's Program Specialist serving the congregations in Alaska, Oregon, Washington, and Idaho since 2002. This past year she also served as the Interim Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministries for her denomination and has a new assignment this year as Growth Specialist. Prior to this work she has been the development officer with Associated Ministries of Pierce County. She is also a candidate for the ministry and is in seminary at Seattle University, a Credentialed Religious Educator at the master level, and is a graduate of The Humanist Institute in New York City.
Jeff Siddiqui
Jeff was born in Pakistan and brought up in the NW Frontier Province. He has also lived in the Sindh Province and many cities of Pakistan. He has a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Electrical Engineering (1974), Pakistan and a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering from the U of W, in Seattle (1978). There, he was involved in student politics. He headed the International Students Commission which represented the rights of non-resident and foreign students.
He was a member of several inter-faith groups. He has written Op-ed commentaries in newspapers, magazines and has been a guest commentator at local TV and radio stations including KUOW, KEXP, KPLU, KVI, KTTH, KIRO, KOMO & KING. He placed second in Pacific NW "Excellence in Journalism" 2003 (Commentary, Analysis & Editorial)
He was a consultant and significant contributor in the book, "Terrorism Today" by Simonsen & Spindlove.
He has been involved in various human rights issues as in Bosnia and Rwanda as well as minorities' rights in other countries. He is a member of American Muslims of Puget Sound and has spoken at Universities, schools, churches and service organizations to promote an understanding of Islam Muslims and current international issues.
