Every two years, advocates from across Washington State gather in Olympia to educate state lawmakers about the need for HIV/AIDS prevention and care services in our state. 2009 will be a critical year for HIV/AIDS advocates - Washington State Legislature will be faced with a $6 billion budget deficit - the largest in state history.

Let's make sure our elected officials in Olympia understand why our community can't afford to lose critical programs serving people living with and at risk for HIV/AIDS!

Autumn Accolades

The MAC AIDS Fund delivered an incredibly generous grant of $25,000 to help Rosehedge continue to provide top quality care to our residents. 

And many thanks also to Half Price Books for two big boxes of books and DVDs to entertain residents through the cold winter!

Rosehedge 20th Anniversary Celebration

After much garden sprucing, chair finding, and anxiously scanning the skies for signs of rain, our 20th Anniversary BBQ went off without a hitch (or a drop).  Some photos of the fun, courtesy of our own Katie Niles.

Grant News

Golf Savings Bank has partnered with Rosehedge by donating $2,500 to help provide residents with top-quality care, nutritious meals, and safe, stable homes.  Profound thanks to the crew at Golf for your support!

Big thanks to the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence for a grant of $1,500 to help Rosehedge residents celebrate holidays, birthdays, and other special events. 

The Archdiocese of Seattle has awarded Rosehedge a $600 Rice Bowl grant to help us continue to provide nutritious home-cooked meals to our residents.

Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS has renewed their support for Rosehedge with a $5,000 grant for Resident Services.

Many thanks to DIFFA--Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS--for their very generous gift of $10,000 to support Rosehedge.
