Enhanced Assisted Living
Rosehedge/Multifaith Works specializes in the care of individuals with mental illness, substance dependancy, and/or dementia, in addition to a diagnosis of AIDS. We are the only organization in the Seattle area providing enhanced assisted living services to this population.
Our three Seattle houses offer private bedrooms, shared bathrooms, hot, nutritious meals, and round-the-clock care by our Resident Care Assistants. Registered Nurses are onsite weekdays, and on-call 24 hours a day.
Rosehedge/Multifaith Works offers an Enhanced Assisted Living Program to men and women with HIV/AIDS.
Core services include:
- Assistance with dressing, bathing, feeding, laundry, and other activities of daily living
- Routine nursing assessment and monitoring
- Medication management
- Nutritional assessment and food preparation
- Coordination of medical appointments and transportation
- Onsite counseling and referrals
- Recreational opportunities
- A comfortable, home-like environment
Volunteers spend time with residents, often accompanying them to appointments and recreational outings. Volunteers also assist with home and yard maintenance, or use their special skills to provide personal services such as haircuts.
