Outstanding Partner in Building a Community of Compassion

Faithfulness, compassion, and patience are just three of the strong characteristics that have made the Renton Methodist/St. Andrew's Presbyterian CareTeam a successful and enduring member of the Rosehedge/Multifaith Works community.  Founded nearly a decade ago, this team of women and men was a consistent source of care and support for the family they served.  Through numerous illnesses, hospitalizations, and seasons of distress, the team was an anchor and safe haven for their CarePartner and her children.  After years of phone calls, visits, celebrations, transitions, and meals shared, the team has become a true family where all are known, accepted, and loved.  In the last year, they took on another family and gently walked with this couple as one partner bid us farewell at the end of his fight with HIV.  This team embodies the heart of our work through their commitment, humility, and nonjudgmental spirit.  They show us all that if you want to be great, you must be willing to humble yourself and serve.
