Outstanding Partner in Building a Community of Compassion

For the past several years, the "Love Without Boundaries" fundraising event has had one particular volunteer that has remained a mainstay throughout the entire day.  Although usually being one of the first people to arrive to help with decoration and setup, Amy Meiser is often the volunteer making sure the last rose petal has been picked up at the end of the event.  Amy first began her involvement with our agency by answering a call for auction item donors for the event.  Her donated jewelry was an instant hit with the bidders, as was her warm smile to the guests, staff and other volunteers she worked with that night.

Amy is a pre-school teacher and is on the Channel 9 Advisory Board, so her free time is limited, which makes us feel even more fortunate any time Amy assists with office projects, helps with our fundraiser, or has taken time to donate and prepare food for a Shanti training.  Any filing, mailing, or other project is simply more enjoyable when Amy is here.  When asked about what keeps her so closely connected to Rosehedge/Multifaith Works, Amy responds that it is the overall holistic approach to our clients that keeps her involved.  Having one person represent the donor, volunteer, and friend so well, makes us proud to tell people that Amy Meiser is a part of our community.
